Protecting client information

AI Edge works with sensitive operational, technical, and strategic information. Our approach is designed to minimize unnecessary data movement, preserve client control, and protect information throughout the engagement.

Keep data in client systems whenever possible

Whenever possible, we work with client data inside systems and environments controlled by the client. Keeping data in place reduces unnecessary copying and allows existing access, security, retention, and governance controls to remain in effect.

Secure handling when extraction is required

When the agreed work requires data to be extracted, it is transferred and handled securely. Access is limited to authorized people and approved tools needed for the engagement, and extracted data is stored on encrypted servers.

Minimize access and use

We limit the data we handle to what is needed for the engagement and use it only for the agreed work. The handling approach reflects the sensitivity of the information and the client’s requirements.

Engagement-specific controls

Before sensitive data is moved or accessed, we confirm the approved environments, access restrictions, retention expectations, and any additional contractual or technical controls with the client.

This page summarizes our general operating posture. Specific commitments, controls, and responsibilities are defined in the applicable engagement agreement.
